WHAT IS MUAY THAI?

Muay Thai, also known as Thai boxing, is a martial art and combat sport that originated in Thailand. It is often referred to as the “Art of Eight Limbs” because it utilizes the fists, elbows, knees, and shins in striking techniques. Muay Thai is known for its powerful strikes, clinching techniques, and rigorous training regimen. It has gained popularity worldwide not only as a sport but also as a form of self-defense and fitness training. In Muay Thai matches, fighters compete in rings, using a combination of punches, kicks, knee strikes, and elbow strikes to defeat their opponents.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF MUAY THAI?

Training in Muay Thai offers a wide range of physical, mental, and emotional benefits:

  9. Sense of community: Muay Thai gyms often foster a supportive and inclusive community where members motivate and encourage each other, fostering a sense of belonging and camaraderie.
