We have FOUR tournaments happening in 2026 and we want you to feel excited and confident going into the tournament season!
Competition is used to help the student train under a stress situation against an unknown opponent, which is a different type of stress level than testing. It also develops the competitive spirit, club spirit, and shows the student a higher level of intensity that they will continue to reach when they return to regular classes. This will improve their overall technique and advance their abilities in the Martial Arts.
Whether they win or lose, both results are a learning experience that is priceless. Losing will inspire them to return to the class and train harder thus resulting in personal growth. Winning will add confidence to their self and allow them to be an example in class for others to emulate. Which will further spur those others to a higher level of technique. Even the few who did not attend the competition will be caught up in the increase in focus.
